"Small gardens can be challenging to create a sense of balance, proportion and spaciousness for the various elements and zones within it. The Fibonacci sequence and the golden section is thought to evoke these perceived values in designing spaces, so I experimented with this. Having enough space to enjoy sitting in the garden, whilst having comfortable circulation routes for the user (and to and from the house) needs to be well thought out.
